San Andres
Legend has it that on the eve of the commemoration of the ephemeris of San Andres appeared golden blades above the mosque of Almoradí. The army, which had surrounded the city, directed by Jaime I interpreted this fact as a sign of the Saint indicating that it was the propitious moment for the taking of the city.
To commemorate the image of San Andres, patron of Almoradí, religious events are celebrated (mass and procession), cultural events (photography competition, theater, musical acts, …). These celebrations are celebrated on November 30, coinciding with the commemoration of the Holy and the Half Year Festero.
